JPEG Playback The players can display JPEG pictures placed on a CD or DVD. The standard functions of showing JPEG files is rotating and a slideshow function. Limitations The limit of the number of JPEG the players can display is 4000 entries. More files may exist on the disc, but those won't be displayed. This limit is probally only reachable with the use JPEG's on a DVD. The player doesn't support MOTION JPEG or formats close to that. Also no other picture formats than JPEG is supported (for example it won't show BMP, TIFF, GIF files etc.). According to the manual: the picture resolution can be between 160 x 120 and 6144 x 4096 pixels (sub sampling is 4:2:2 or 4:2:0).
