Movie Overview

Anthropologist Professor Alexander Saxton discovers a 'fossil' in the frozen wastes of Manchuria. Whilst returning to Europe on a Trans-Siberian train with the fossil, Professor Saxton soon realizes that the mysterious deaths occurring on the voyage could well be the result of forces not of this earth.

Filmed with a budget of $300,000, starring two masters of the horror genre, Horror Express has inevitably become a cult classic through the years. Featuring two legends of the genre in top form (Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing), an overacted Cossack (Telly Savalas), a Mad Monk, an International Spy, a Countess, a suspicious Police Inspector, and also a host of odd characters that would be quite at home in a Circus. Add some gory special effects, a red-eyed caveman, some zombies, a brain-sucking alien, and you've got a perfect mix of low budget horror for the Halloween season.
