Beats of Rage (BoR) is a freeware open source video game and moddable game engine made by Senile Team and inspired by Sega's classic Streets of Rage series. The term "moddable" means that the program allows users to create their own content, and thus their own beat-'em-up game, which is then called a "mod".
This section contains mods created with the BoR game engine and it's open source continuation 'OpenBoR'. With the continuing improvements and the additional functionality, OpenBor has made it possible to create some excellent new mods, more information can be found at the project home Lavalit.
Battletoads
Here we present the Battletoads mod created by bWWd, it's a brand new game using the enhanced OpenBoR engine. The game took eight long months to create, contains five completely different game modes, and four playable characters:
Rash, Pimple & Zitz from Battletoads and Sketch Turner from Comix Zone.

This release is a tribute to the Golden Axe series of games released for the Sega Mega Drive, which was known as the Sega Genesis in America. The Golden Axe Genesis mod was created by krizalid, it features the OpenBoR engine, and is compatible with Dreamcasts that support NTSC, PAL60, and VGA.
